When you're out there braving the winter chill, with your tractor humming along and the cold nipping at your fingers and toes, having the right gear is essential. From gloves to boots to jackets, everyone has their favorite setup.

So, what’s the best cold-weather gear to keep you warm while you work?

I used to just throw on a bunch of old jackets, but after one super cold morning, I wised up. Now I rock insulated coveralls and those thermal gloves makes running the tractor in winter way easier, no joke.

When I first started working in the winter, I figured heavy boots would cut it. Nope. After a couple of icy mornings, I got smart: wool socks, lined gloves, and a good old Carhartt jacket. That setup keeps me warm so I can still get things done.

One winter I tried to be a tough guy with just a hoodie and some leather gloves. Big mistake my fingers nearly froze! Ever since then, I shelled out for insulated bibs, waterproof boots, and one of those heated vests. It's nothing special, but I stay warm enough to think about the tractor instead of how cold I am
