Hey everyone,

I’m working on troubleshooting a starter issue on a Case 1845C skid steer (diesel, mid-90s model), and I’m trying to find a clear wiring diagram for the starter circuit — especially the ignition switch to solenoid path (including neutral safety switch if possible).

I’ve already confirmed voltage drop in the start circuit (only 6V at the solenoid S-terminal), so I’m chasing down bad connections, switches, or wires. I don’t need the whole service manual — just the relevant wiring diagram page or two.

If anyone has the OEM service manual (8-42913R0) and could share a photo/scan of the electrical schematic pages, I’d be super grateful. This is just for personal repair, not resale.

Thanks in advance for any help!

If you're seeing 6V at the S-terminal of your solenoid, there's a voltage drop between the ignition switch and the solenoid. First off, give the neutral safety switch and ground connections a look, as they're often the cause. Also, ignition switch terminals can get corroded and cause that drop. Try cleaning everything up before you go swapping parts
