You’re out there working, and some days the oil feels way too hot, while on others, it’s just sluggish. You find yourself glancing at the temp gauge more than you’d like. What quick habits or simple checks do you use to keep your hydraulics running smoothly all year round?

I quickly test the lines, glance at the sight glass, and ensure the cooler isn’t clogged. It only takes a couple of minutes but saves a ton of trouble down the line.

I keep an eye on warm-up time, swap out filters regularly, and clean out the cooler every few days.
If the temperatures start to rise, I ease off, double-check the flow, and make sure nothing's obstructing or restricting the system.

I track temps on my phone, monitor the oil color, and listen for any odd sounds from the pump. If something seems off, I take it slow and look into it much better than dealing with burnt seals or leaks all season long.

Great habits all around. Regular daily checks and keeping an eye on temps can save us from costly breakdowns. I really appreciate everyone sharing their routines, it's this kind of hands-on knowledge that helps the whole community steer clear of downtime.
