so we all know new holland started on its own and case came from international but where exactly does steyr come from found out that new holland stayed independent till fiat bought both them and case ih and merged them into cnh industrial case international came to be when case bought international harvester but steyr has a different story steyr started out in austria making tractors and other equipment on its own then it joined the cnh industrial family alongside case ih and new holland crazy how these brands all ended up under one roof anyone else know some cool history about these brands or have any crazy theories let's discuss

Steyr started in Austria making tractors, then fiat bought them in 1996. After that, they merged with Case IH and New Holland under CNH Industrial in 1999. It's wild how these once independent brands became part of the same group frr

I'm pretty sure Steyr was from Austria? It's as @HooksandLines said. It went to CNH in the 1990s They were acquired by Case before the Fiat's CNH merger. Pretty sure even when it's under CNH it's got its unique engineering features. :)
