As you're lining up your tractor, the auto-steer suddenly glitches or loses its signal right in the middle of a pass. Instead of getting frustrated, what tips, tricks, or setups do you turn to in order to keep your GPS locked and your lines straight all day long?

Start by checking your antenna mount, vibration can gradually loosen connections. I’ve started zip-tying mine more securely since I lost signal last spring. Also, clear away any metal obstructions they can really mess with reception

I always check the satellite connection before getting started, you need at least 8-10 locked in for reliable accuracy.
If you’re not there, wait about fifteen minutes for better alignment.
Rushing can lead to frustrating redo’s later on.

Make sure your RTK subscription is up to date and that your base station has a clear view of the sky. Signal drops are often caused by obstructions, trees and buildings can really affect GPS accuracy, so plan your routes wisely.
