After spending a frustrating day with a cab display that keeps flickering and freezing, I found myself wondering whether recalibrating it might do the trick or if the entire module is just done for. What solutions have you found when your screens start misbehaving?

Had the exact same issue after a dusty week.
Before you go replacing stuff, try a full power reset and check all the ground wires and connectors.
Seriously, that fixed my screen more than once when I thought it was totally dead.

They can act worse than they really are. Recalibrating fixed one of mine, but only after cleaning the connectors and letting it sit powered off all night. If it's still freezing after that, the module might be about to die.

Flickering usually means there's a problem with the power or wiring before it's actually a hardware problem. I always check the voltage and software updates first. It's worth trying the easy and cheap fixes before you go spending big bucks on a new display.

most of the screen glitches I've seen in a tractor are just dust or moisture in the harness. get some electrical contact cleaner, unplug the main harness behind the display, and blow it out. It’s a lifesaver

Thanks everyone, this is super helpful!
I really appreciate the tips on resets, cleaning connectors, and checking the wiring before assuming the module is done for.
Your practical advice and time-saving tricks mean a lot
