What tire setups have you found to be effective when the terrain gets tricky whether it’s soft, frozen, or somewhere in between? It’s always great to share what really works out there in the field.

Yeah, I've found that running dual wheels works out great when the ground gets soft. I learned that lesson the hard way years ago after getting my tractor stuck in the spring mud. Now, if the ground looks like it might be a problem, I don't take any chances.

For icy conditions, I always use chains. I learned that from my uncle who used to work in the woods during the winter. I haven't found anything that grips the ice as well, so I've always stuck with the chains.
