Hi new to the forum. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction for replacement seed hopper? I have a case 900 2 row for my food plots and the hoppers are in bad shape. I can only find JD replacements online. Are there any differences between the 2?

Son, I see your post is from a few months ago and I am hoping you already have a solution for your planter. Did you manage to find the parts you needed for your food plots?

To answer your original question, a John Deere hopper will not bolt up directly to your Case 900 row unit without some heavy modification. I remember the mounting systems were quite different between the old company machines. Your best chance for original fiberglass hoppers is to get in touch with a reputable tractor salvage yard, as many of them keep parts for planters of that vintage on hand.

You can still find Case IH 900 parts through Messicks. Combining JD hoppers on a Case frame usually means modifying brackets and seed plates. It can be more of a disaster than it is worth compared to tracking down the correct Case parts.
