You jump into the cab on a chilly morning, and before you know it, the windows are fogging up like crazy. It feels like you’re battling condensation more than tackling the actual job! Some people swear by tweaking the airflow, while others have their go-to heaters or clever little tricks to keep the glass clear. What’s your secret for keeping the cab condensation-free during winter? How do you ensure you have a clear view all shift long?

I once had an old 1086, and just cracking the back window a bit really helped. It made a huge difference on those frosty mornings.

When I was using a 7140 during the cold winters, I’d clip a small battery fan to the dash. That, plus cracking open a vent, kept the fog at bay.

I recall one winter with a 1660 combine, my windows kept fogging up, so I had to wipe them down every few minutes. I ended up rigging a 12V defroster and ran the fan on low with the door cracked. It wasn’t ideal, but it worked for harvest.
