Unload auger doesn't extend

So far so good with my Case IH 166o but all of a sudden, the unload auger won't extend when I flip the switch inside the cab. That's not normal, right?

My temporary fix is that I manually pull back the wheel for the limit switch on the saddle. That's the only time it goes out. But the moment I move the cab switch back to neutral, the auger folds right back in.

Pretty sure it's an electrical issue, but I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting. Has anyone experienced this before or have any advice on what to check?

Try unplugging the sensor, my buddy did that on a 1680 just to get through the day. Make sure to leave the switch in neutral to avoid the auger trying to fold in and overheat the hydraulics.. That should be worth a shot. Let me know if it does something

Why do you think the auger only responds when you manually move the limit switch, could it be stuck or misaligned, or maybe not getting power from the cab switch circuit?
