Hey, I'm thinking of adding some aftermarket hydraulics to my Case IH 8920. Wondering if anyone's used non-original parts and how they've held up while actually working in the field?

I added aftermarket hydraulics to my Case IH 8920 last season for hay work out near Lancaster. Went with Dynamatic parts from Agriline, they were way more affordable and held up great through long days in the field. Just make sure the flow rate matches your setup, and double-check fittings. No issues so far!

The 8900 series uses a pressure-flow compensated closed-center system, so any non-OEM components, whether valves, pumps, or cylinders, must be rated to handle the system's maximum pressure and accommodate the necessary flow rates. Look up manufacturers like Prince or Danfoss as their products often meet or even exceed OEM specs. A high-quality aftermarket install will hold up just fine!
