Checking hydraulic filters on your Case IH can be a bit of a chore, right?
But keeping those filters in great condition is super important.
What’s your go-to method for checking them quickly without creating a mess?
I’d love to hear your tips!

Picked up the trick of cleaning around the filter with a rag before I even touch it helps keep the mess to a minimum.
Then, I just pop it off and take a quick look. It’s fast and spill-free

Gotten into the habit of placing a small drain pan under the filter before I unscrew it. That way, if there’s any leftover fluid it gets caught. It keeps everything neat while still allowing me to check the filter properly.

I grab a quick-dry towel to catch any drips around the filter.
After that it’s just a matter of checking it over and swapping it out if necessary.
It makes everything cleaner and quicker, plus it prevents a mess under the hood
