You’ve just finished swapping out a hose or cylinder, fired everything up, and now the hydraulics feel a bit spongy. We’ve all experienced that moment! What’s your go-to method for bleeding the system on your Case IH equipment to ensure it runs smoothly and free of air?

After I swapped my first cylinder, I freaked out when the loader felt all wobbly. Now, I take my time, crack the bleeders, cycle the cylinders slowly, fill up the reservoir, and keep repeating that until everything feels sturdy.

Once, when I swapped a hose, I hit the start button too quickly. After dealing with spongy hydraulics and muttering a lot of curses, I figured out I needed to lift and lower each implement, crack the bleeders one at a time, and constantly check the fluid levels. This routine works every time and helps keep the system running smoothly
