I have a question about my Pro 600 yield monitor system. I'm currently using it in my 2366 combine for harvest but I want to know if I can use the same GPS system in my 7110 tractor for planting.

I would like to save some money and use the equipment I already have. Can anyone tell me if this is possible to do? And if so, can you tell me how to set it up to work in my tractor? Thanks for the helps!

Yes, you can move Pro 600 system over, but you'll need the right harnesses and mounting hardware for the 7110, dealer can get you the adapter kit and help with setup so it works for planting

Absolutely! The Case IH AFS Pro 600 display is a multi purpose monitor designed to be moved between implements and machines. It can definitely handle planting duties in your 7110.
the key is to have the correct Planter Harness/Harness Adapter to connect the Pro 600 to your planter control module
You'll also need to go into the Pro 600's Toolbox settings to set up a new Implement Profile for your planter (rows, width, offsets, and seed calibration). Check your planter's owner's manual for the wiring diagram and a dealer for the specific harness part number

It can be done but it is not just plug and play. You need the right GPS receiver, adapter wiring and to check that your planter control side will accept the signal the Pro 600 puts out. I saw a video showing how people set up the Pro 600 to output NMEA messages for planting and guidance. If you want to give it a shot it would be smart to check with a dealer or someone who has already done it so you don’t end up frying equipment.

Just remember to check if your GPS antenna and receiver are compatible with the tractor’s mounting and power setup. Also, make sure the signal type (NMEA vs proprietary) is what your planter controller expects
