Aftermarket vs OEM parts worth it?

Ever used aftermarket parts on your hydraulics, engines, or transmissions? How do they compare to the original manufacturer's parts in terms of durability?

I've tried some off-brand hydraulic hoses and they worked okay. But when it comes to seals and filters I always go with the original parts. Getting the right fit and having them last is just too important.

Aftermarket pumps or valves can do the job, but they might wear out quicker if you're pushing things hard. Plus, their tolerances might not be as tight. For parts that really matter, sticking with OEM is typically the safer bet.

Aftermarket parts are okay for less important stuff, but for things dealing with high pressure or that need to line up just right, think cylinder rods or gears in your transmission, it's worth paying more for official parts. You'll save yourself a lot of trouble down the road.
