Has anyone fixed up or upgraded their AutoShift, CVT, or manual transmission? What did you learn, and any advice to share?

I put in better shift solenoids and updated the TCU. Now the shifts are smoother, and it can handle more torque, especially when it's working hard.

I switched to synthetic transmission fluid and installed a cooler, which really helped with heat fade and kept the shifts smooth even when I was under load. I also picked up the importance of recalibrating after making any hardware changes to prevent those odd shift points.
